Update on Life & Leon! ✨

Hey guys!! 

So sorry I haven't updated for a while a lot of stuff has been happening and I haven't gotten around to doing so! >3<

Also I haven't had Internet for a while so that's been an issue~ alas one that is now resolved!

Leon is pretty much been finished for a long time now!

He's only missing his cloak but I kinda like how he looks atm so I don't wanna make him his jacket just yet :3 even though I went and bought invisible thread just for him! >w<

In other news~

My dog Tyson passed away ;_; <\3 this upset me greatly for some time and still doesn't really feel like its real.. he was only 6 and 1/2 but he obtained heart disease and sadly he had a heart attack whilst with my dad. We got him cremated and we have his urn. Just, seeing death makes me think about so many things.. 

My parents have a new doggie now~

His name is Rambo and he is very cute I really miss him actually, he is clumsy and very happy ^o^

he is a black Doberman and he has a tail! Doberman tails are so pretty. He's very silky and he likes to eat everything and has very sharp teeth ^^* he also likes to sit on me and sleep. He's grown so fast the last time I saw him he started to get the size of our jack Russell so  suppose he will be quite big now as I saw him ages ago!

Hm, what else have I been up to?

I ordered my first passport finally, I'm meant to be going on my first holiday in June but idk if my passport will make it so that's a kinda ooooooops >.<!

let us pray! ^*^ could do with it tbh. it's make me really happy

um, been having fun with friends! 

Got myself an Usa-chan FINallY!! Literally Usa-chan is my favourite thing ever atm!

apart from socks I've been quite obsessed with collecting cute socks :D because I bought new shoes for work which show socks >w<

and I got myself another job in a craft store which is pretty damn epic :D

really enjoying it there at the moment, the people are very lovely and I'm learning a lot and meeting a lot of interesting people :D

Sukekiyo are coming to London later on in the year :D I think September so I plan to go see them as Its a rare and wonderful opportunity to hear my idols voice again :D I'm so excited about that! I haven't seen Kyo live since 4years now ;/;

I've got green in my hair ^*^ I love green & white atm they're just the best colours! also light blue and indigo!<3

Leon under way~ ★

I have started work on Leon!

So this clay is quite interesting~~~ it is easy to work with, but it does take a long time to dry (3days)

(though obviously making smaller parts will dry faster ^-^)

its a strange texture, kinda seems sandy-like. It seems to dry very light, which is a great thing :3

Leons horns being added after his face was finished ~~~

he looks kinda evil barefaced doesn't he? haha.

I tried to make his face as smooth as i could.. the only thing that i didn't like about using this clay was that it didn't quite get as a smooth result as my other clay :(

after i started on his face-up ^-^ I had to re-do his eye brows as I messed them up ~_~

eventually after re-paints and sanding i managed to fix the mistakes i made.

and when he was dry I began on his hair~!

and thats his head all completed!! :3 

im currently working on his body~ i shopped for some fabrics for his clothes already~

I got an aqua transparent fabric for his cloak, velvety brown for his waistcoat & bracers, an English green for his trousers, and a stretchy white fabric for his shirt underneath ^-^

I can't wait to finish Leon~ i hope he is impressive >_<

I accidentally made him taller than crow.. I don't understand how because i measured him up to be the same height as Alexander and Crow is bigger than Alexander. Why do I keep somehow making them bigger.. I really tried to make Leon smaller but I thought he would look slightly odd if  his body was smaller as his head looks bigger with his horns. Not that it matters how tall they became though. As long as they fit into my room, haha!

Hello everyone! Did you all have a good Christmas? Mine was great! \(^-^)/

My most treasured gifts were these! 

I was on the verge of tears when I opened my copics! ;A; ❤ 

I mean,  to a lot of you this is probably nothing!!!! but I wouldn't be able to afford this for myself, so it means so much >~<

Other presents were mostly consisting of nice kawaii sparkly items! ^-^

I've ordered a few things recently!

Ordered&recieved my Gatsby! (Grey)

I've never tried Gatsby before, so was interested! I accidentally didn't realise I ordered a small tub though. It is so small, looks like for a Barbie LOl.

(On their way:) Venus Eye Aqua Circle Lenses from Pinky Paradise!

I was going to order blue Circle lenses but these looked a bit more interesting!

Other things I ordered:

•New 10mm BJD Light Blue Eyes

(Yes, for my next doll! I sure hope they are light as the photo this time!)

•Paperclay (16oz) 

(Yay! >:3 I finally get to test this stuff out!)

•An Cafe ticket

(Seeing them in London in March!)

Oh and I ordered DAS 150g Air Dry Modelling clay (Me again not realising 150g is probably enough to do my dolls foot LOL) 

So yeah, I decided I'm making an armature for Crow because I don't want to take 6months to get around to completing him. As cannot find right materials for stringing, been busy, just wasn't the time >~< 

(Lol at me just working on my floor while others work in a studio/spare room)

Armatures are funny, aren't they? :'D

(ps: can you see what I mean about the clay packet being small? LOL)

Luckily this was just enough clay to do his basic frame..

I don't really know why I am still using beads for his shoulders. I just thought it'd give them more structure since I had to stuff Capns shoulders soooo much! 

This clay kinda smells like plasticine. It also takes forever to dry. it's been drying for 5hrs and still is mouldable. My other clay (which is the same but branded "Dozen" instead of "DAS" but exact same clay) dries much faster! I'm not sure I it's a good or bad thing but I found it interesting! It's more oily, it seems. My other clay would dry so fast (not solid, but fast) you would have to mould very quickly, I kinda enjoyed the rush LOL.

Anyway, will update with more pics as he advances! I need to get some nice black fabric tomorrow! (^•w•^)

|Grey Lenses & Re-tweaking Captain|

I was a but silly as I couldn't find my prescription and ordered wrong lense prescription ;( so now I brought lenses that I can't wear~ and they looks so pretty :( *i tried them on but they gave me a headache*

argh I'm rather annoyed about that >_< I miss wearing lenses but it was my own impatience fault~ damn being blind & going blinder~

Anyways I have been working on the captain in my spare time ^w^

things I edited: 

•re-sew the belts to show more of the waist.

•burned all fraying off.

•painted boots brown.

•made new ENTIRE trousers so the legs are thicker and stitching appears neater! 

•painted detailing on the blue sash. edge detail and writing around the waist.

•painted the nails 

•had to re-do the neck as it broke..

•stuffed body more.

~and still currently re-sewing the entire jacket with black silk~

sooo much of my time is going Into Captain atm! I have to totally re-do the jacket collar to make it more dramatic~in fact the whole jacket wasn't dramatic enough really~~! I also re-made the cuff kings and plan to add more details so look forwards to finishing that! I'm not going to finish customising him until I feel he is at a standard I can accept. :3 Making every little thing by hand is difficukt！

I feel so tired recently and today I felt really sick ( ꒪Д꒪) I think it's because I forgot to eat.. 

I keep hurting my hand..first I accidentally ripped some skin off with my nail when I opened a packet(damn long nails, but I need them ><) then today I cut my finger on a shelf strip whilst cleaning them x-x imgah I know it's just a little cut but it hurt so much >~<

also my nose/throat have been terrible since I had a cold like 3 months ago lolol. I can breathe out my nose but it feels blocked? and dry >~< hmm why could it be??..

Anyhows!!~ 

I have finally customised the Cap'n ( ^ u ^*)

I made a bandanna (made it look dirty with eyeshadow! :D) and put beads in his hair ♡ looks so much more pirate-y now..!

also I put the bells on his waist !!finallllyyy

(I've felt too lazy to see but my bag broke yesterday so when I fixed that I just want to see everything *^*) I fixed a lump in his leg too lol

you can sorta see the sea-shells I attaché to the waist as well..

also today I added more collar, made fur for the collar, made his arms thicker, attached a chain to his waist and neat-end him up! ^^

ahh! I wanna add more ^_^ I am going to add more to his jacket so it stands to attention more :3

and custom his boots!

I got this awesome bracelet today! *_* it's so nautical and pirate-y!!!!

Also I brought these Maryland cookies today, I thought they'd be a bit eww but they smell and taste so good *_* so fresh! so glad I got Hazelnut ones..mmmm ;)

my hair was violet then pink now it's gone peach~almost white, looks a bit silver? XD basically this

I miss my yellow hair for some reason ;-;

I might just have it pink 💀

The captains shirt is complete! ★

Hello! I've been working on clothes for the Cap'n!

I stayed up all night yesterday hand stitching all of this shirt ∑(ﾟДﾟ) actually i went to bed at 3am because i got too tired. My back was breaking! I stitched a see-through cream material into the gap with silk ribbon above it, then sewed the ruffles over that. Added a thin cutting of ribbon over the lace on the neck detail and a bow with a pearl in the middle.

 I wanted to finish it but I got this far:

yeah I can't afford a sewing machine so no easy way out for me (￣O￣;)

It came out quite wwell 

I also made some pretty little gloves with bows and a pearl in the middle :3

I lost my other pearl so I used a gold one for the other hand xD 

Finished the shirt a while ago as my sibling came over & distracted me lol

Just need to do the trousers now!! ＼(^o^)／

More about me~ (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) ♫･*:.｡. .｡.:*･

I thought I'd write more about myself, how I was drawn into Art and such.

I have always been imaginative and creative since my earliest memories. I definitely wasn't a spoilt child, if I wanted something I'd have to beg my parents to death, more so than just saying please please please, though I gathered little skills of persuasion! it was very little my parents actually gave in.

Anyway, I would always try to create things and use my imagination, one thing I miss dearly is how open your mind is when you're that young. I used to make little bird people from daisies by putting a thorn through the stem, this entertained me endlessly lol.

 I remember always being fascinated by plasticine as you could literally bring your imagination to life and create things you want to have that you don't have. At first I would make the simple people with dots for eyes and sausage like hair, I remember my favourite hair to make was yellow then orange strands. I felt like I didn't have much skill in creating things with this as my eldest sister made a model of a person and it was so much smoother and cleaner looking.

Since the influence of Anime came into my life I wanted dolls of the characters. I would try to turn some dolls to look similar but it just didn't work. Once I even tried to hammer a Sindy's body to be a male hahahaha. (Ken and Action Man were far too ugly to be even remotely convincing). I ended up with a broken chest less Sindy. Since transforming dolls didn't work I had the idea of drawing the characters and cutting them out and playing with them like paper-dolls. I have so many good memories of these! 

Anime was a positive influence, even though it kept me in a dream-like mode I was safe there and it surely improved my drawing! I would draw on EVERYTHING every single day! Even in school books, homework diaries, friends books lol

And I also made plasticine models of all Tenchi Muyo characters, my favourite dynasty warriors characters and some others. Making these over and over again improved my skill and I always tried to challenge myself. I would always try to make the most detailed characters or I'd just make up details into them. It went into making even small plaits and eyelashes, nails etc. even spiral iris' for Rikku. 

The reason why I couldn't make these anymore was pretty simple, they just don't sell plasticine anymore. What they do sell is far to oily or cake-mixture like. CRAYOLA did a fantastic pack. It was perfect and didn't dry out! Also I wanted something that couldn't be squashed or melt, it's very difficult to use plasticine with temperatures over or under normal. I've had blisters from it being to cold to mould and it sticking all over me from being too hot. And it's very difficult to do the fine detail in heat. 

I experimented with FIMO but my fine details all broke off. Then I thought its over for me, will just be something I used to do.

But I had the inspiration while searching the Internet for different clay types to make dolls. All these ideas surged into my head. And now I'm here, making dolls, something I enjoy greatly.

I am working on the body today! I might even get time to do the clothes ＼(^o^)／

P.s: what a bugger! My green eyes came!

Dunno what to use them for as I was going to use them for Kiyo but my impatience got the better of me..

Kiyo's progress ★

Heyy there! :D

So so far, Kiyo's been given facial features! I tried to make the face more 3d and less flat looking than my last doll..what do you think?

then i smoothed kiyos face out. For Alexander I used one type of sanding paper (not sure what grade because I forgot) anyway, this time I'm using 3 basic types (coarse ,medium and fine) for some reason I find the coarse:medium made it smoother than the fine? There were less scratches..not sure why but it could be the friction I used?

Alexander is hiding until Kiyo is done...

I tried a different painting technique aswell (base coat then layering) made the face less smooth because how the acrylic dries but it's not too bad..

Right, I was impatient last night (being away from working on Kiyo for so long was so frustrating!!) and so I ended up doing the make up, (also applying some hair) -it turned out hideous because of the terrible lighting and I got majorly upset! 。・°°・(＞_＜)・°°・。

(This WASN'T how I wanted it to look.

To me this looks rushed and amateur-like.)

I was upset alll day until I got home from work and I sanded the paint off and re-painted the face.

I am SO pleased with the results, the colours I used were less harsh and brings more attention to the beautiful colours of the eyes and recognises the structure of the face.

I have constructed the body and am waiting for it to dry and be sanded. Kiyo had a little dance ꒰*ゝωꉺ꒱۶♡ *¨*•.¸

I am excited to work in the clothing very much. I promise it will be much detailed *^^*
